If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Minsk Square requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.hindustantimes.com/cities/others/minsk-square-a-tribute-to-east-europe-in-the-middle-of-bengaluru-city-101638040859368.html and https://bangaloremirror.indiatimes.com/bangalore/others/the-minsk-ultimatum/articleshow/79518270.cms. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. April 2022[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain namespaces ((Article) and Draft) for copyright violations.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MoneytreesTalk🏝️ 18:39, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You've previously received 1 2 3 4 5 6 warnings for copyright violations/unattributed copies. After I nominated the above article for G12 today, I looked through more of your edits and found further issues; your re-creation of Chittagong Boat Club after it was deleted under G12 was still mostly copied from https://web.archive.org/web/20181020051751/http://chittagongboatclub.com/index.php/about_cbc/history, and your edits to Shahidul Zahir are closely phrased to sources you cite like [1] and [2] (which I assume you wrote yourself, but the content there does not appear to be under a compatible license with Wikipedia, so it cannot be copied over). This is concerning, as you have over 10,000 edits here and you're a VRT agent- you should know all content you add to Wikipedia must be your own words, or compatible with our creative commons license. If you want to be unblocked, you must commit to no longer copying from sources and demonstrate a better understanding of licenses. MoneytreesTalk🏝️ 19:00, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

OK. I understand the current situation and make my apology. It's not a big deal, I can re-right the copyvio words and lines. Please unblock me. Lastly, every problem has a solution, please go with a solution not to destroy anyone's mind. Thanks in advance. ~Moheen (keep talking) 06:25, 3 April 2022 (UTC) [reply]

Decline reason:

You have persistently ignored messages about your blatant copyright infringements over the course of six years, and now you cavalierly dismiss the matter with "It's not a big deal". I don't think it would be constructive to remove the block until you give a convincing reason why we should believe that you will now take copyright more seriously than you have in the past, and saying that you don't think it's a "big deal" does nothing to suggest that you will. It is a "big deal". JBW (talk) 08:11, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Moheen (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

@JBW: Sometimes mistakes can happen to a human being, but it doesn't mean I am a useless user. I have created 200+ articles with 10K edits, and here I am for over ten years. Some of my last edits revoked the copyvio rules, I understand that. Please don't find myself wrong, make me free for editing again. I committed I will be more careful in future and it will never happen again. ~Moheen (keep talking) 18:41, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Some mistakes we cannot tolerate for legal reasons, like copyright violations. Copyright violations potentially put the entire project in legal jeopardy. I don't see any progress here since your last request. I think you are lucky the block was not sitewide. 331dot (talk) 19:12, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:331dot, I have been blocked in the Article and Draft namespaces, and since my last request, I couldn't make changes there. But I realised and keep all the words seriously and make a commitment to never doing that kind of mistake again. But If I get a chance I can prove myself. --~Moheen (keep talking) 19:35, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved your post, you shouldn't use the reply function to respond to a declined unblock request message. We cannot just take your word that you will do better when copyright violations are involved. You must do as JBW asked in his decline message. 331dot (talk) 19:52, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@JBW: Please don't get me wrong. I commit to no longer copying from sources and will review all of my previous edits to respect copyvio rules. Please consider my apology. ~Moheen (keep talking) 20:02, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Bengali Wikivoyage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable enough to have its own article. Do you see French Wikivoyage or German Wikivoyage, which both have more pages, having their own article on Wikipedia?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
