Hiding abusive editing in the history of this page[edit]

Hi, Moheen, nice to see you again. I've hidden the IP edit from 1 January. Was there anything else? Please send me diffs by e-mail if you'd like me to look at them, we don't have to publish stupidity. I'm afraid I have no power over Simple Wiki. Bishonen | talk 23:59, 2 January 2018 (UTC).[reply]

@Bishonen: Thanks. OK for now. But I'm worried that he said he is a Wikipedian, and deliberately concealed his identity. ‍‍‍‍~Moheen (keep talking) 14:36, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Nidhhi Agerwal[edit]

Hello Moheen Reeyad,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nidhhi Agerwal for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kashish Vohra requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:08, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to participate in study[edit]

Hello,

I am E. Whittaker, an intern at Wikimedia with the Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.

Humayun Azad's book[edit]

@Moheen, Humayun Azad is my favorite author, being an atheist I like his writings and want patriarchal values to be abolished from our society which is the main reason in our country for women's and girl's repression. 'Sab Kicu Bhenge Pore' (সব কিছু ভেঙ্গে পড়ে) is a book about sexual freedom (Azad was an advocate of sexual freedom) but the article you created doesn't represent strong references and from where did you get a Nigerian writers influence on that book? In the novel 'The poet or the condemned eunuch' (কবি অথবা দণ্ডিত অপুরুষ) the word 'Things Fall Apart' can be seen, but how can you be confirmed that Azad's 'Sab Kicu Bhenge Pare' was inspired from the 'Things Fall Apart'. I want your reply. Fayaz Rahman (talk) 03:56, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Fayaz Rahman: I said, the book's title has a tune from Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. If you read all the literary text from the author you can realize sometimes it could happen. Thanks. ~Moheen (keep talking) 04:06, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages.
