The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Philippe49730. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Cabayi (talk) 09:25, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Great additions to the Ettore Sottsass page. I am going to reformat and add more work. If you disagree with anything, feel free to comment on my Talk page or on the Talk page for Sottsass. Arispool (talk) 16:35, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Philippe49730, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Ettore Sottsass have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:09, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArtPremium

I've tagged ArtPremium for deletion as there's nothing in the page that indicates it's in any way notable. Regards, Cabayi (talk) 18:44, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited ArtPremium, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). [edit]

Hello, Philippe49730. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Jacques Halbert moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Jacques Halbert, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 15:33, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @I dream of horses:, everything is in order, I was adding the references but you were too fast. The article is a translation from the french article as notified on the article talk page. Would you mind to review the draft now the references as clear. All my very best, --Philippe49730 (talk) 16:07, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I removed Halbert's name from Neo-Dada because of the lack of this article. I see you're dependent on French WP, which only says that he identified himself with Dada but gives no evidence that fellow artists accepted this. There are references that do so but you'll need to include them in the English article to make that clear; then would be the right time to add the link to the Neo-Dada article, I think. Sweetpool50 (talk) 17:12, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Dear @Sweetpool50:, you also have to keep in mind I added 5 books on both the english and the french articles on Jacques Halbert and they are all including Jacques Halbert in a Neo-Dada practice. Don't worry, I will referenced it when adding. Very best, --Philippe49730 (talk) 17:25, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Once the English article is up, I'll regularise the language for you, if you like. Sweetpool50 (talk) 19:56, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Museum Week, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Foundation and Weibo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Philippe49730. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. What is your connection to the art collective Art & Language and to Château de Montsoreau-Museum of Contemporary Art, Philippe Méaille, Art-Language and Château de Montsoreau?
