Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Pig1995z, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Sigma Software, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at the our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions ask me on my talk page or you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! GirthSummit (blether) 17:12, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sigma Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I'm still writing an article. Please wait while I complete it.Pig1995z (talk) 17:17, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In my view, the text of the article is not salvageable - it is far too promotional, it would need to be rewritten from scratch. Please also review our conflict of interest and paid editing policies. You are required to declare your connection when editing about a subject you are connected with, and undeclared editing for pay is against the terms of use of this website. You may want to consider writing an article in draft space and submitting it for review by independent volunteers via WP:AfC. GirthSummit (blether) 17:19, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I put a template that I edit the article. It is still far from ideal. That's why I edit.Pig1995z (talk) 17:22, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I saw the template, but that doesn't allow you to work on an advert. You haven't addressed the question about your connection to the subject. GirthSummit (blether) 17:31, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I will now put a template on my user page about paid editing. Tell me the name of the template, because I'm from the Ukrainian wiki Pig1995z (talk) 17:34, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a template for paid editingPig1995z (talk) 17:44, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Pig1995z, you should not make any further changes to the article. As a paid editor, you should restrict yourself to making comments on the talk page. GirthSummit (blether) 18:02, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Why not make changes to the article? Ok, I'll add a template to the discussion page.Pig1995z (talk) 18:05, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Pig1995z, see WP:PAID for why you shouldn't edit the article in the future, even if it is retained. GirthSummit (blether) 08:46, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sigma Software

[edit]

Hi @Pig1995z: You seem to be exhibiting WP:OWN tendencies around the Sigma Software. I have reverted your revert. Please don't revert it. The article lists a whole bunch of services, which is WP:PUFF and WP:NOTADVERTISING, which I've cleaned up. You may think the awards are notable. They are not. They are trade awards and are non-notable. Don't put them back in, or I will need to seek page protection. scope_creepTalk 14:10, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Scope creep: Why advertise the awards and services provided by the company? And to the place where she provides these services? --- Should this section also be deleted ?: Pig1995z (talk) 14:41, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Most awards are not notable. Googles products are used by millions, all over the planet, so they are notable. This company is sufficient large to get an article, but it's products are not sufficiently well known to merit inclusion. Don't add them back in. scope_creepTalk 15:00, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Scope creep: For the first time I hear that because a company is small, it has no right to have any sections that other large companies have. Why can't small companies have this section? Pig1995z (talk) 15:04, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Pig1995z: Dude this place isn't Facebook or Medium, where any old muck can get written. There is rules that determine what can go in a article. scope_creepTalk 15:51, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your move of the article on Volodymyr Areshonkv, please note that the usual form of Ukrainian names on the English language Wikipedia is forename + surname: in this case, Volodymyr Areshonkov (see (e.g.) Category:Ninth convocation members of the Verkhovna Rada for confirmation) so I am going to move it back. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vasich Serhiy Viktorovych requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Canada-Ukraine Foundation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from newpathway.ca/cufs-marathon-helping-ukraine-continues, en.interfax.com.ua/news/general/31725.html, and newpathway.ca/holodomor-mobile-classroom-readying-to-take-to-the-road. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Control copyright icon Hello Petrushchak ivan! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 13:55, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t know what kind of wikibusiness you have there, but I indicated that I edited the Sigma Software page for a fee. The company paid me for it. What are the claims? Petrushchak ivan (talk) 19:50, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What about the other articles? The other three have signs of Wikibusines editing elsewhere. If you think the block is unjustified, follow the unblock process as mentioned above. MER-C 18:32, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
