Fauna of West Virginia your EDIT

Firstly, may I apologize that my local dialect of American English is not up to your apperant level of worthy. You changed the terminology in the article, Fauna of West Virginia. You changed, for example to the term, "Geology (basically study of dirt and rocks), whereby the meaning in the terminology as I used, using the terminology, instead of geology, but, meaning the "life zones" (proper) of West Virginia which means more to the environment beyond simply dirt. Life zones in the Department of Natural Resources' terminiolgy is more accurate in the context of animals living in these various environments here in the state. Geology study's "dirt" and Rck" formations that go down into the earth beyond the crust. You have completely changed the meaning of this and other sentenses about our fauna. "Life Zones" include our particular vegitation as well. Clearly, some of us West Virginian's dialect of "American English" is different than Brasillian English. Your edits have completely changed the meaning of some sentenses. I admit I am not a scholar in the the studies of communication and literature, however it seems, one needs not a Doctorites Degree or a least a class in Literature from one of our local universities to make edits. Thankyou for changing our definitions within the text of the article. Cheers Conaughy (talk) 18:52, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I see... definitions are a big thing with me--Your style edits are appreciated and thanks for assistance. Conaughy (talk) 23:23, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

You have been mentioned on the administrators' noticeboard. Please see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#User:Victor Lopes for more. NW (Talk) 16:49, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I have restored UFO sightings in New Jersey 1978 per your request since it was deleted via prod. It will, however, need to establish notability through references in third party reliable sources if it is going to stand up more scrutiny.

If you need any further assistance (such as copies of other articles you had deleted), let me know.

Have a nice day, ThaddeusB (talk) 02:32, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Equador, Rio Grande do Norte

Hello Victor. Back in February, you created this article with a de/do typo in the title (as "Equador, Rio Grande de Norte"). I just noticed that yesterday and moved it to Equador, Rio Grande do Norte. I have also listed for deletion the resulting redirect (from the original title). We would welcome you input at that discussion. -- Thinking of England (talk) 01:31, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

You wrote, "That was an unforgivable typo for a Brazilian like me" Bah! Two small, roundish letters looking much alike. It is amazing what the brain will read when it knows what is written. I'm not trying to rub it in, but you might be amused to look at the article's history. You created it in February, moments after creating Tibau, but using that article as boilerplate you forgot to change Tibau to Equador in the map caption and the first word in the lead. Within a few minutes you recognized half your mistake and fixed the caption, but the first word in the lead remained Tibau until it was fixed in July.
I assume that your note at the RfD was in support of deletion. In that case, I'd appreciate you prefacing it with a Delete. (I hope you don't mind that I outdented you comment there to better respond to another editor.)
This was my first move ever, and had I been more familiar with issues surrounding the resulting redirect I would have notified you of the title typo allowing you to do the move yourself and speedy deleting the redirect under G7 (Author requests deletion). I apologize for dragging this into RfD, but there's no way out now but for slogging through. -- Thinking of England (talk) 02:27, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't know if you are watching the RfD, but a question has been raised regarding the future of the EquadorEcuador redirect, and whether Equador, Rio Grande do Norte should, perhaps, be moved to Equador. -- Thinking of England (talk) 05:14, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Huzzah! The RfD was closed as delete! -- Thinking of England (talk) 01:21, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

RE: Your edits to DragonForce

I removed that part of the section because it is unsourced, unotable and very poorly written, and even more so including as a list just makes it seem very unorganized. • GunMetal Angel 21:17, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Obrigados!

I saw the message you left for Esnupi. I know enough Spanish to be able to read Portuguese to some degree and you explained the situation beautifully. I hate like heck blocking well-meaning users like that, but he needed to stop posting all of those bizarre little stubs and reasoning with him in English wasn't helping. I did a mass deletion of the articles, so if you happen to think of any which need restoring, please feel free to let me know or if you're an admin, please feel free to do so yourself. Again, obrigados. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:45, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I guess a machine-translated insult isn't the most well-meaning gesture.  :) Anyway, Mato Rico is back up. Good luck with the save! Best, PMDrive1061 (talk) 14:02, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

La Roux - As if by magic

Hall Musique had an interview with La Roux, by mail. Every messages have been verified by La Roux's manager : Tony Beard (tony@biglifemanagement.com). The information is now on Ukmix, Buzzjack, and DigitalSpy. What's wrong?!

Question about TAM building image

Is this the headquarters of TAM Airlines? http://www.flickr.com/photos/gregoripavan/3466156315/ - If so, I will see if this user is willing to relicense the photo WhisperToMe (talk) 22:39, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

  • It is the TAM HQ building, so it is now on Wikipedia as the HQ building - It was relicensed to CC-SA so it can be used on Wikipedia. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:04, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
