Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity

Information icon Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in over one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, and that you have not been inactive for a three year period of time). If you remain inactive for a three year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Miszabot got confused and left a mess here

Hi, this was an incorrect bit of archiving last June, as it took an opening nowiki tag but left the closing nowiki tag. The bot was confused because there were Level 2 headings within the nowiki'd text, and it stopped its cut at that point.

When it pasted the resulting partial cut into the archive,[1] this was likewise missing the closing nowiki tag. As a result, a mass of later archived sections all got rolled up into one long unformatted mess.

For the record, user:DASonnenfeld removed the remaining text including the closing nowiki tag from the talk page here, so it never got archived. By this time, the archive page was looking like this – see the bottom part of it. (DAS, you may be interested to see how that stray content which you deleted had got left there.)

Thankfully this probably does not arise very often, but may I suggest that you program the bot to look for the closing nowiki tag if it removes an opening one? – Fayenatic London 20:47, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) Just FYI:The edit to which you referred was actually a year ago June (June 2013). Since that time the Mizabots have been disabled and are no longer performing any archiving tasks on the English Wikipedia. This has been the case for close to a year now. As of about the beginning of this year, the archiving tasks which the Mizabots used to perform are being performed by User:lowercase sigmabot III (lcSB3). lcSB3 is a complete re-write of the code. Thus, any bugs which Mizabot had should not be considered to be part of lcSB3. — Makyen (talk) 22:11, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Help request

I need your help !

Wiki Lithuania Project question .

Wikipedia has identified me as a major contributor to a Teodoras Daukantas article, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teodoras_Daukantas and indicates that I have a close connection with its subject. I am prepared to justify a claim that the Teodoras Daukantas article falls under the general guidelines of notable individuals , but it requires cleanup in order to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, a neutral point of view and meet the general guidelines for article submission of notable individuals ,(September 2014), valid Teodoras Daukantas Image (jpg) even if it is of a Lithuanian origin.

Justification:

Cabinet Defense Minister,Teodoras Daukantas (1864-1960) of the Independent Republic of Lithuania meets the criteria as a notable individual for inclusion to Wikipedia Free Encyclopedia under the general guidelines for notable individuals . Teodoras Daukantas article, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teodoras_Daukantas .

Evidence: In that regard, I have attached a hyperlink link, http://gvdaukantas.wordpress.com/ embedded within a WordPress web site providing a primary, secondary or tertiary source in two identifiable (microsoft.word)file.docs,(a European League of Nations Treaty, #3542 ) and ( a minister.doc) that bear evidence that Cabinet Defense Minister,Teodoras Daukantas meets the criteria as a notable individual for inclusion to Wikipedia Free Encyclopedia under the general guidelines for notable individuals .

n.b.

I do need help to validate a proper image upload for Teodoras Daukantas.jpg to justify Wikipedia criteria for uploading an image to the Wiki Media creative commons page sans fear of copyright infringement. Also, I intend to improve upon == Potential citation sources == . The snippet views of existing article citations do not provide enough context to really use them, so I intend to get access to a full referential citation such as :

  • [1] an account of his time in prison?
  • [2] the government paying for his going to Argentina
  • [3] traveling to buy arms
  • [4] was he working with or against the Jewish resistance in Lithuania?
  • [5] an analysis of his writings for Nature (or maybe it is Simonas Daukantas work?)
  • [6] a military pressure campaign against Poland.

(talk page stalker) @Zckjsrbn: Misza13 has not edited the English Wikipedia for more than a year. That makes it unlikely you will get a response. As Pburka suggested in reverting a very similar post of yours on Wikipedia talk:Notability (people), you might get a better response if you posted at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Lithuania. It would probably be a good idea for you to also review Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines At a minimum, you should have added a section header to your new topic (e.g. ==Help request==). You also left a line with formatting which disrupted reading the page by causing it to be as "preformatted" text. This was due to having a line begin with a space character. It is a good idea to use the "Show preview" button at the bottom of the edit page to review your edit prior to hitting save. — Makyen (talk) 19:02, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
