Ion Mystery

Not tryin to give you a hard time, but a quick look at their schedule shows that they have a mix of true crime, reality shows, and crime dramas, so to narrowly label them as a "true crime network" wouldn't be accurate. Basically they are Ion 2 when you get down to it. Vjmlhds 04:10, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

Concerning order of the logos for the OTA TV networks in the US...

The concern I have about how the logos for NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, The CW, & PBS are displayed in that graphics box in the article for List of United States over-the-air television networks in the order that they were launched in is that someone who either: a) lives in another country, b) isn't very familiar with the history of terrestrial television in the US, or c) even know when the 6 major US TV networks were launched, may mistakenly believe, according to that graphics box, that PBS is the newest of the terrestrial TV networks, when, in fact, it's not; it was launched after the big 3 (NBC, CBS, & ABC), but before Fox.

So, I'm not sure if there should be an additional note left in the description underneath that graphics box pointing out that PBS came after the big 3, but before Fox. 2600:1700:C960:2270:848E:A4D0:C04C:7454 (talk) 06:18, 19 November 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for your thoughts on this discussion about where to merge the material. Most people just shout MERGE! and leave it up to someone else to figure out the specifics. I'm one of the editors who does a lot of the AfD merges, and it's so much easier with comments like yours. Joyous! | Talk 17:41, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

Mr S./Mrs C.

Hi, Mr S. I've just seen your user page. I don't think changing your user name to either MrSchimpf or Mr Schimpf would really be too much of a hassle. If you want me to, I'll rename your account. If you decide to take up that offer, then when the renaming has happened, if you try to log in under your old username, you will get a message telling you that the username or password is wrong, which might make you think that you have lost access to your account. You can in fact simply log in with the new username, and the same password as before, but I like to warn editors before changing the name, to avoid confusion. JBW (talk) 13:46, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

I have submitted a global rename. When I checked a minute ago, you had been renamed on af.wikipedia.org, and you were queued on numerous other wikis. Usually it works much more quickly than this, but perhaps the rename queue is unusually busy. JBW (talk) 00:30, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

It's now working on commons.wikimedia.org, in alphabetical order, so it should get there eventually. JBW (talk) 00:35, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

My reversion of your edit to FedExField

I definitely know you're right that Arena Drive predated FedExField because I remember using that road as the "back way" to exit the Capital Centre in the late 1980s/early 1990s. My reversion of your edit was based on the fact that the article text said that it was a new Beltway interchange that opened around the same time as FedExField, and that's accurate. Here's a news link from 2007, when Maryland was expanding it to a full-time interchange, that mentions it being built in 1997: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/ramp-near-fedex-field-to-open-full-time-in-09 I have a better source from the State Highway Administration, but the link is one that Wikipedia won't allow. 1995hoo (talk) 21:31, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
