I was about to have Castlevania`s Alucard categorized here but I'm having second thoughts on whether this cat should exist at all. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:20, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Does look really sparse. Applying the label "superhero" to Alucard (Castlevania) and Soma Cruz does seem iffy also. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 09:29, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Suggest deletion? Also someone added two questionable cats. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:45, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
I am asking for your advice before I act. Don't want to be unfounded now. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Feel free to nominate for deletion and cut the cat from where it doesn't belong. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 03:05, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Will do as soon as I return. Now then, would you happen to have any time on your hands? I'd like to also get back to the WP:DBZ discussion (the lists keep getting worse and worse). Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 05:18, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

the d gray man characters

I agree with you on this I made the articles because the articles because the List of Black Order members is geting farlly big so I though it would be a good idea to cut down and gives the character articles I made for the characters that took up the most space oh by the way alot of the d gray man pages need more ref. just so you know TheDarkLoneWolf —Preceding comment was added at 07:50, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

About Akatsuki

I knew that it was consensus. I'm just saying that it was sorta without warning because you didn't add a MERGE TAG prior to the discussion, so it left other people oblivious to the discussion taking place. ZeroGiga (talk) 07:57, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

MERGING BLOODY ROAR CHARACTERS

Wazzup! I just proposed a merge of ALL Bloody Roar characters. If you like, you can join the conversation, and help with the eventual consensus. ZeroGiga (talk) 08:02, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Requesting an Editor Review

I have decided to open an Editor Review at Wikipedia:Editor review/Gary King so I could receive a new assessment for my recent activity on Wikipedia. I would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to look over my recent contributions and point out areas where I could improve. Thanks in advance! Gary King (talk) 04:39, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Congratulations on your recent WP:FL. I apologize if you feel you are being spammed with this message. I am fairly sure that you are aware that we are running an experiment to choose the List of the Month and Lists of the Day for June. Feel free to nominate your list at User:TonyTheTiger/List of the Day/Nominees/200807 for consideration next month to be the July LOTM or a LOTD. If you would like to support this experiment the most important thing you can do is come by and vote at User:TonyTheTiger/List of the Day/voting/200806. My talk page is always open.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 05:16, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Rfb participation thanks

Hello, Ben.

I wanted to personally thank you for taking part in the project-wide discussions regarding my candidacy for bureaucratship. After bureaucratic discussion, the bureaucrats decided that there was sufficient significant and varied opposition to my candidacy, and thus no consensus to promote. Although personally disappointed, I both understand and respect their decision, especially in light of historical conservatism the project has had when selecting its bureaucrats. If you have any further suggestions or comments as to how you think I could help the project, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your support. -- Avi (talk) 17:09, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Removing reports from WP:AIV as a non-admin?

Are non-admins allowed to remove stale reports from WP:AIV? I have seen it done by people who have a solid reputation as vandal-fighting non-admins, so I am wondering about this. Gary King (talk) 22:08, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Just help me revert his edits to the redirects. I gave clear reasons in my edit summaries as to why I am categorizing them yet he seemingly is ignoring them. Have you watchlisted the redirects BTW? There's still many I have to get to. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:06, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

RfA thanks!

RfA: Many thanks
Many thanks for your participation in my recent request for adminship. I am impressed by the amount of thought that goes into people's contribution to the RfA process, and humbled that so many have chosen to trust me with this new responsibility. I step into this new role cautiously, but will do my very best to live up to your kind words and expectations, and to further the project of the encyclopedia. Again, thank you. --jbmurray (talkcontribs) 06:01, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Referencing of Setting/Character Info

Hey, if you have a few minutes, can you take a look at User talk:Collectonian#Escaflowne and offer some thoughts? This started over my tagging the Settings section of Vision of Escaflowne as being unreferenced, his removing the tag, my reverting, repeat, then moving to the discussion on my talk page. I, obviously, do not support his view that setting and character information needs no sourcing. I suggested he try asking others, I pointed him to GAs, FAs, and FLs showing otherwise, policy notes, etc. I asked him to ask elsewhere to see if he is right, and even suggested he ask you since you've dealt with a lot of those same articles and issues. He still says he's right and that's that, and I don't know what else to say to him and am getting frustrated with the whole conversation. Hoping maybe a third opinion will help settle things one way or the other (even if its to say I'm totally wrong on this idea). Collectonian (talk) 10:30, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Mopping

Hmm. To be honest, I'm not really what to say. I'm flattered you thought of me, but I've no idea what I would do with a mop. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure I know enough policy-n-procedures around here to make an effective administrator; and as it is, I feel I spend too much time in WPspace and not enough doing work in articlespace. I think I will decline at this time. (ObPersonal: there's a good chance in the near future I may unexpectedly disappear for a few days; if I don't respond to a reply immediately, that's why.) —Quasirandom (talk) 15:12, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

BarnSakura for excellent edits

I hereby award you the Anime and Manga BarnSakura for your excellent edits at the Naruto articles. It's amazing how many of them became GA and now you plan a feature topic! I hope you keep working like that!Tintor2 (talk) 01:07, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Anime essay

Hi, Seph. I've been going round and round for the last 45 minutes with this kid over this essay. He's using his IP as a sockpuppet, violating the civility code on the talk page and apparently feels he can do whatever he damned well pleases. Please, can someone help me with this? --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:09, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. Turns out it's a G12 from [1] and they do not wamt their stuff redistributed without permission according to the pop-up I just got. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:12, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

  • And thanks again. I should have Googled that text a long time ago. After comparing his syntax on the talk page (which I just tagged) with the article itself, I smelled rodent. Many, many thanks. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:15, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

You bet I will. I'm signing off for the night since it's late here. Here's hoping he got the message. In fact, you may wish to delete his user page for his own good since he'd put personal contact info on it and it shouldn't be in the edit history AFAIC. Thanks again and good night. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:20, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

You should be ashamed of yourself!

For giving a warning for something like that! I was sure YOU are the vandalist, just deleting the arcs' names... I tried to fix it! So undo what you did to the Naruto episode lists! The arc dividing was a lot better and a lot more comfortable! And you should read again the article on "Vandalism" cause I think you don't know what that really means! Vandalism is corruption of something, not of fixing it! You do not have any special rights just because you are an administrator! You should ask the other users if the changes are better as well! I think EVERYONE would agree with me that the arc dividing is VERY helpful! (Feel free to comment guys lol.) If you really believe that your edit was so good than go ahead and tell us why... If you don't have a good reason than please change them back. Nice piano player (talk) 19:39, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Do you want a proof for arc dividing? Well actually I can give you 2:

1. If you look at the end of episode 32 of Naruto: Shippuden you can see that the charcters are "celebrating" the end of the ARC.

Go to www.veoh.com and search naruto shippuden 32. Click the first result and roll to the end of the episode.

The translation at the top of the screen says: "Retrieving the Kazekage Arc Completion Ceremony! Job well done!".

2. At episode 202 when they mention a few of the battles who didn't make it to the top 5 the translation is "The Wave Country ARC".

Search naruto 202 in veoh and roll to about 7:32.

Those prove the arcs are also an official dividing of episodes. The season dividing shows that episode 32 is in the MIDDLE of Season 2 of Naruto: Shippuden, like episode 202 which is in the middle of season 8. That leads to a conclusion that the episodes have 2 different and independent dividings: seasons and arcs. So, because arcs are also an official dividing and DIFFERENT from the season dividing you need to add them back to the wikipedia pages if you want the information to be truly reliable. =)

hi i have to disagree with you there. The rogue penguin has used many insulting edit summaries, and i am not the first person to notice this. I do not mean to be a "dick" but I do have to stand my ground on this one. Thanks, JeanLatore (talk) 23:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Useless redirects

I'm currently trying to slowly trim the various Dragon Ball lists, and they have a ton of worthless, messy, and redundant redirects. After I finish them up, could I just make a list for you to run through quickly or something? TTN (talk) 23:42, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Looking at it again, it should probably just be done after each list is completed. The first group is located here to avoid clogging this page. TTN (talk) 01:08, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
I believe that all of the ones with "(Dragon Ball)" already exist as redirects without it (except "Cooler and the ones mentioned here). There really isn't any need for them without having actual pages under the main names. Tsufurujin and Tsufuru are no longer covered within the article. Cyui and Dr. Myū really aren't terms that people will link to or search for the characters under. I guess the rest work for now. TTN (talk) 18:24, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
It also looks like Cui (Dragon Ball), Kiwi (Dragon Ball), and Kiwi (Dragon Ball Z) should have their histories merged. TTN (talk) 18:32, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Naruto GAN

Sephiroth BCR, I have worked on the article, and as previously mentioned, I spent a month reviewing it. I had mentioned that it read exactly like the articles os Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, ect. which are good articles. THAT is why I nominated it. If you have a problem with my rationale, instead of removing the GAN tag without an adequate reason, DISCUSS the problem rationally. That is all. Busboy (talk) 21:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
