Hello Theroadislong, I disagree with your statements on adding new references. The Contactless payment and ‪Mobile payment‬ Wikipages which were modified don't have any formal references. IEEE peer reviewed articles were added as formal references. You may want to do the needful to add them to the Wikipages of Contactless payment and ‪Mobile payment‬ following procedures that you have suggested. The external links were added so that the readers can click on them and get access to the articles for further reading. Please help Wikipedia to have latest information for people. re Ronan draft- references

The only biographical references I have for the first three sections of the page are from samronan.org, which is a site owned by Ronan himself. Your message about my article draft

Hi, thanks for offering. I do understand and agree on principle with the criteria mentioned, and maybe it's just a technical problem then, or one of terminology and formalities, so I'd be happy if you can help me. I included the link to the amazon page just to show those CDs exist. Is there another way? I've seen discography sections for other artists that just list the titles and that's it, which for me sounds less believable than linking some place where you can find the CDs. In any case my intention was not to advertise for amazon or anything. Would it be of any (hah, notable ;-)) interest to include an un-linked list of recordings, or should I just leave that out? About the German wikipedia page, I just wanted to include a link to it at the bottom of the article, like it can be seen on some pages, but somehow that didn't work. I didn't even strictly use it as a source, I used Mr. Palmeri's artist bio (Spanish) that can be found in different places (original and sloppily translated), and the German and English version are based on the same material. But it was probably the wrong place to put the thing. As for more reliable and independent sources - sadly the number of available arts reviews about anything but the biggest mainstream events in other countries than Germany and Switzerland is quite limited, so even if there are tons of event announcements, it's hard to find anything useful... or are the articles I linked okay like that, seeing as your criticism didn't refer to those? Bruce Flatt's Wiki page and GGP

Hi, I noticed that you helped an editor from GGP Inc (General Growth Properties) move the company's page to GGP Inc from its old name space. An anonymous editor tried to change the name of General Growth Properties to GGP Inc on the Wikipedia article for Bruce Flatt, the chairman of GGP Inc, the name of which appears three times on the page. Unfortunately a second editor, ScrapIronIV, reverted the edits, stating that the changes from the old name to the new name were "sock edits," whatever that is. I am hoping you wont mind making the changes there? I am afraid to tangle with ScrapIronIV, in fear that it might turn into an editing war. I would really appreciate it. "Self Published" References?

Hoping you can help me out with one...I don't understand that an article someone has written, for a notable place like The New York Times, is "self-published"? As someone who works in the publishing world, self-published would be considered a blog or personal website, but an article in a nationally recognized newspaper or website is not published by the author him/herself. It is published by the Editor, and it has to be accepted. Please advise? Thanks!

As my draft submission says, I was the CASWO. I am filling in the missing information between my predecessor and my successor . I am open to suggestions on how I can increase or prove my 'notability'. I would have thought my notability can be proved by my award of the MBE, and I have referenced that? I cannot see where my successors gained their 'notability' having done exactly the same job as I did...

I've read the notes on 'notability' and to be truthful it's as clear as mud to me. I'd appreciate your suggestions.

We only summarise what reliable, independent published sources say about the topic, we have no interest in what she says about herself and if there are no reliable sources then we can't have an article about her. The article Tony nwoye was tagged for referencing which worked on (though not sure I did it correctly) but I tried referencing and citing it to the best of my ability. You left a message stating the above draft was apparently an Armstrong family history project. This is inaccurate. As stated before, this person was the FIRST WHITE SETTLER in WA and gave the suburb its name after his home town in Scotland. Any history inevitably involves a family connection. I can rewrite some of the more subjective and descriptive language but dispute I did not source relevant sources (2 published books and 2 source documents are more than representative). Please advise on exactly what you demand. Many locals here comment that they can't find historic figures on wikipedia and I want to correct this. See WP:SELFCITE I have edited many thousands of articles and VERY rarely come across self citing, it is NOT encouraged, you are welcome to make suggestions on the article talk page but you should exercise extreme caution citing your own work.   • GeorgesRomme, I see a lot of self-citing for "Romme", and not all of it is neutral. Self-citing is one thing, but a. one should not cite Dr. X's work to prove that Dr. X's work is important: one needs a secondary source saying so; b. we should be very wary of self-promotion in the first place--Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tenure file; c. the language needs to be absolutely neutral. I work at another campus, the TU/e Science Park (as a professor at the TU/e = Eindhoven University of Technology) in the same region; but the TU/e campus is not related to the HTCE, that is completely privately owned.     • Georges, I am not (yet) prepared to do that--it seems to me that the subject may well be notable by our standards, and I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bathwater. What you can do is send it to WP:AFD, but I think you'll find it more likely that the article will be kept and improved as a result. Which may be a good thing. We like having articles, and we like having articles on notable people. Removal from my page

Hi there! You left me a message that something I had added to my page had been removed (no reliable source...?), but didn't say what had been removed so I'm not sure what you're talking about. I'm not very tech savvy so I'm having a lot of trouble navigating here. A fan messaged me on Facebook to say he had gone in and added a bunch of stuff, but I noticed it wasn't a very good update (some wasn't accurate info) so I went in and changed a lot of it. Perhaps you can guide me a little better? It's always a crap shoot when a fan thinks they're helping. Lol I've also noticed that there are photos linked with the Wiki page that are not of me and on the "Drunktown's Finest" page there is a link to my Carmen Moore page, but she is a completely different Carmen Moore that I don't want to be associated with. I've had trouble with her in the past. Do you have any suggestions on how to get her photos (or anyone else for that matter) unlinked to my Wiki page? To say that a particular platform is not reliable, would be like saying that Wikipedia is not a reliable source, period. A reviewer experienced in the field of international law/business needs to take a look at this submission, otherwise Talk is non-sensical.

The ACAA award is extremely notable. It is rarely won by a lawyer, and it is handed out by the Ambassador to China. The articles by QUT, Nudgee College, ACAA, the Qld Law Society that discuss this award, recognise how notable it is, and recognise subject's work to get the award. Thanks Theroadislong, I'm fairly new to wiki and still learning. I thought it ok to put the ammount of asset held as I'd seen that on other investment management pages? With regards to the substantial donation - it seemed historically significant that Ecclesiatical and its subsid had raised such a figure in under three years. Is there a better way I can put it? I take your point about quotes - and will learn how to do this. I've used quotes before and foprgotten how. Can you let me know - is the page ok now? Incidentally I'm not an employee of EdenTree. I'm interested in corporate and moral links between Church of England and world of insurance and investment. I removed some text as it wasn't neutral in tone and read like marketing puffery and other text because it was copyrighted content, you can't copy and paste anything unless it's a direct referenced quote of something somebody has said. I think the article looks fine at the moment. I would be very cautious about using their own website to reference claims like " fourth biggest corporate charitable donor in the UK" I think that needs a secondary source. Hi Theroadislong, Thank you for not immediately deleting the page I am in the middle of constructing for the above actor. I appreciate that when you first saw it it was very spartan- I assumed I could make it and add to it without it ringing alarm bells, but I have updated it with more info and references proving it's notability I think and would like to add more in terms of links to TV interviews etc, however the videos of the BBC and ITV TV interviews are mostly hosted on sites like YouTube and Facebook rather than the original TV channel (as some are a few months old now and will have disappeared off the online players). They are obvious in what they are but is it okay to link to these as references as they are secondary references and not primary ones ( albeit you can see that they are BBC and ITV videos)? If the website or page to which you want to link includes information that is not yet a part of the article, consider using it as a source for the article, and citing it instead of just adding an external link. I am not doubting that you are a real person, I think you might have misunderstood what Wikipedia is for. It is an encyclopaedia. It isn’t like Facebook where anyone can write about themselves. Please see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. We summarise what independent sources have published about subjects and we have essentially no interest in what anybody says or wants to say about themselves on Wikipedia we need reliable sources independent of the subject. Adam Armstrong draft or posted page?

If I upset you please forgive me but I had no way of understanding what had actually happened. Please understand I have been doing this page for several months with only the comments made by wikipedia to guide me. I also do this as a volunteer and therefore attend to it less often than ideal. When I logged in yesterday, the first thing I noticed was that the draft Adam Armstrong page was "blank". Having spent many months trying to improve this I assumed that it had been deliberately removed as failing to meet the standard whereas I had regarded it as a work in progress . I found a link that allowed as I saw it the article to be restored hence its position back in drafts. Please note I had read in some other messages that content had been removed from another user and had not way of knowing that the article appeared to be posted i.e accepted - a message from you to someone asking about this made me realise only today what seemed to have occurred. I was also unable to find out how to create a second sandbox as I need to work on several articles contemporaneously so it was a very unsatisfactory afternoon. The chat site seemed to be hacked by people with no interest in wiki issues and it was dillusioning to be asked by one of the helpdesk why I was being secretive ( I didn't provide my user name because it told me not to!) perhaps you could confirm that the Adam Armstong page is now live so to speak. Help with creating multiple "sandboxes"

Hi, I hope you read my apology. I am being very dense and cannot find anyway to "create" a second and third sandbox. I am working on several different ideas and cannot find any clear instructions to get these set up. I did find something that directed me to "go to my user page and click on the right of the image, then click on "edit" which apparently was meant to bring up some kind of dialogue box. The only optons were to "create" a page called nedvol which is now undeletable and I no longer have my home page. Could you remove what ever it was I created and give me really simple step by step instructions on how to create second third and fourth sandboxes. About your review of my article titled MarkPlus

I have been asked to write this article on Wikipedia about my employer (MarkPlus). Even though I am well aware that promotional material should not go on Wikipedia, I really objectively feel this company deserves a Wikipedia page. MarkPlus has been one of the pioneers in advancing the discipline of marketing in Indonesia. They have an interesting story too and is one of the few companies competing head on with big multinational consulting companies in Indonesia. I am not saying it only because I am supposed to do this, but I really believe it. Please help me with tips on how to make this article about the company more notable, neutral and objective. I have tried to do this by including minimal information about the company but more about the knowledge-based concepts they have come up with over the years, as well as some of the international best-selling books authored by the company's founder.

The article is very poorly sourced. Wikipedia requires there to be in-depth coverage in reliable, independent published sources. We have no interest in what the company says about itself and if there are no reliable sources about them, then we cannot have an article. I am the Director of Public Affairs for LSU Health Shreveport -- I apologize for any issues I may have caused in trying to edit the content on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSU_Health_Sciences_Center_Shreveport ... but there are some factual inaccuracies on the page that have been noted by both current faculty and prospective students looking to join our institution.

The issue is the following statement:

Since 2016, the LSU medical school in Shreveport has grappled with financial threats to its continued existence. LSU President F. King Alexander said that the troubles date to 2013, when the private Biomedical Research Foundation of Northwest Louisiana assumed control of the teaching hospital as part of then-Governor Bobby Jindal's plan to privatize the state charity hospital system. Alexander said that the foundation has not paid hospital bills in full and provides insufficient funding to sustain the medical school.[2]

While the privatization of our teaching hospital did in fact make the institution reconfigure its financial model, our "continued existence" is not threatened or in jeopardy, as the inaccurate Shreveport Times article referenced implies. The headline of the referenced article alone -- LSU's Shreveport Medical School on Life Support" is inaccurate. I do not seek to promote the school through Wikipedia, but as Director of Public Affairs, I am responsible for making sure one-sided articles that negatively reflect our institution are responded to. If you could advise me on the how to dispute the section and referenced article, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Nope. Those articles are positively riddled with extreme bias from the atheist-skeptic movement. Nearly every paranormal article on this site is pure religious intolerance against Pagans and Witch-folk. There is nothing "neutral" whatever about the POV.
