Upper Canada politician stubs

Hi, I've gone through the list of Ontario MPP stubs, and I've moved about a hundred to the Canadian politician stub category. Could you create the specific category for Upper Canada politicians? (Almost all of the ones I moved were Upper Canada. There were only a few that were Province of Canada politicians. I've changed them as well, but they wouldn't warrant a specific category.) Wikilink tagging

Hello, when you are going through your stubs, please be judicious as far as tagging articles as being underlinked. In some cases, there is no justification for more wikilinks. • The only time I might nark an article as underlinked is when using AWB, as I am still picking up on the changes here in the last 5 years I tend to rely on AWB making the correct automatic adjustments, I will however attempt to spot any incorrectly tagged articles.   • Hello, you have marked dozens of small beetle stub articles with the Wikilinks tag despite their being one-sentence stubs. I doubt that the vast majority of them deserve this tag. Adding Wikilinks tags

Hello, could you please be judicious about adding Wikilink tags to very short stub articles? Two of the Scottish footballer articles do not have need for anymore wikilinks. Short Description and AWB

Hi: I noticed that some of your recent edits using AWB (e.g. Peter Murdoch) have the unfortunate side-effect of moving Short Description below hatnotes, in violation of MOS:ORDER. This is an AWB genfix bug, which was corrected last November soon after the 6.1.0.1 release, but not yet released as an official binary. It's annoying to fix these manually, and I have built a binary from the latest official sources if you're interested. See Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser. Hi Waacstats! I'm kind of in awe of the speed and efficiency of your stub sorting - I was wondering whether you have particular tools or methods that you use. I have a Mac, so AWB is not available to me. I have just recently started using Cat-A-Lot and a stub sorting script for simple stub type changes. Completely unsourced article on a building with no actual assertion of notability. Searches for sources mostly turned up false positives (other, unrelated churches with the same name), and the few I could find that may have been on this building were extremely brief mentions. Without any significant coverage in reliable sources, it fails the WP:GNG.

Opera and Vivaldi

Hello, Waacstats. I noticed your Opera userbox, and I'm an Opera user from way back, before anybody ever heard of it, from the time when I used to watch ECMA performance stats, and Opera regularly beat everybody hands down. Anyway, I still like and appreciate Opera (still have Opera mini on my iPhone), but I've switched over from Opera to Vivaldi for 90% of my browsing, and nearly 100% of my Wikipedia edits. The tab handling is superior to Opera (and far superior to everybody else), although I think Opera has noticed, and is is trying to catch up. In any case, you owe it to yourself to at least try Vivaldi (Chromium basd). It's awfully good, and it's hard to switch back. Cheers, Mathglot (talk) 11:19, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
