Bot actions check please

Please check the bot edits following this CfD. As of now, half an hour after the actions, one target is redlinked and one target looks malformed. DePiep (talk) 07:23, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

This move was the only error that I found. I moved it to the intended place and fixed the cause. — JJMC89 09:15, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Merging drafts to articles

Hi, I noticed your name on my watchlist because you merged drafts back into articles. This seems to mess up the histories (e.g. here you get two creations of the same article in the contributions, which is normally impossible) for little or no benefit (the author is the same, so no further attribution is needed). This is not a one-off glitch, e.g. this has the same problem. Is there a compelling reason to do these history merges? Fram (talk) 10:16, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

I may need some help on this

Hello. I noticed you're one of the editors of 2022 Rio de Janeiro gubernatorial election. Since I have some things to do on my personal life on the next weeks (related to studies), i'm afraid i'm not going to be able to edit and contribute to the article actively, so i'd like to ask if you can keep editing some sections of this article. I already did some work on some sections today, but the article wasn't been updated since 23 July 2022.

I really appreciate the support. Thanks. Sailoratlantis (talk) 21:15, 13 August 2022 (UTC)

Asking for a draft of a deleted article

Hey, I am just asking for a draft version of an article you deleted today. The article in question is Bobby King (fighter). Thanks in advance HeinzMaster (talk) 05:41, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Why? — JJMC89 09:09, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
As was mentioned in two of the delete opinions on the AFD, it can be a case of too soon and I would like to work on it in the draft in the future without having to recreate the whole article. HeinzMaster (talk) 15:00, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
Bump HeinzMaster (talk) 01:12, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
When you are able to demonstrate that King is notable, I'd be willing to draftify the article. For now it'll stay deleted since no one !voted for draftification in the AfD. — JJMC89 01:15, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

Birdo

When I saw the reason, I saw the name "-insert valid name here-" but then I realised that is the name of a fellow Wikipedian who chose that user name and I thought something was not right with what you said. Glad the honesty is provided. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:42, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

FC Barcelona (crest).svg to FC Barcelona Femení page

Why can the image (FC Barcelona (crest).svg) be used on the page of the men's football club and not on the women's club? It's probably gender discrimination. What criteria does wikipedia use to prioritize the male or female page? Why can't I use the same photo as a shield? Men and women use the same badge. What i have to do? English women's clubs like Arsenal ladies it is permited. Why not in the FC Barcelona case? Vicpumu (talk) 09:35, 26 August 2022 (UTC)

(talk page watcher)@Vicpumu: JJMC89's bot removed the file because it didn't have a separate specific non-free use rationale for the use of File:FC Barcelona (crest).svg in those other articles. However, this file's non-free use was previously discussed at Wikipedia:Non-free content review/Archive 69#File:FC Barcelona (crest).svg and the consensus established at that time was that the file should only be used in FC Barcelona per item #17 of WP:NFC#UUI. A consensus can, however, change over time and you can seek a new consensus for each additional use of the file at WP:FFD if you wish. That is what was done in the case of the Arsenal logo and why it is now considered OK to use in the Arsenal Women's team article. It's best to try and follow the relevant process here and seek to establish a new consensus for the use in the women's article instead of just ignoring the previous one no matter how much you may disagree with it. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:57, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
