ok, well thanks for being polite about it. i'm happy to work on the article to follow guidelines, but the tags now make it appear "illegitimate".

also, every time i added categories today they disappeared.

lastly, are lastFM pages and discogs pages inappropriate external links for artists? i was just following another page's example.

Delitist (talk) 01:37, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

I wouldn't have a problem with Last FM pages appearing and I'm not aware of any problem that XLinkBot would have with them. --5 albert square (talk) 01:40, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

How can you refer to the movie Kick-Ass without having it seem like an obscenity?

The song I referred to was used in the movie, and was how someone living in 2010 might have an idea of who this band was based on this. It makes no sense to call this obscene and vandalism when it is truthful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.58.195.19 (talk) 02:05, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Apologies for that, I've reported it as a false positive to ClueBot and removed the Bot's warning from your page so you should be able to make the edit now. If you've got any further problems with it then please feel free to ask again or you can ask User talk:ClueBot --5 albert square (talk) 02:20, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

cacomorphobia

Dear 5 albert square,

The cacomorphobia article is a dictionary definition and as you know, Wikipedia is not a dictionary. The correct thing to do is to transwiki it to Wikitionary and they can take a decision on whether to include there or not; they will need a source however.

The source, if you will look at it, is a dictionary owned by Farlex, Inc., who are a independent, privately held company based in Huntingdon Valley, PA, offering online reference products, including The Free Dictionary, The Free Library, and Definition-Of.com. The page linked to provides a definition of cacomorphobia: "cacomorphobia: An irrational fear of fat people."

Finally, please do not revert the removal of warnings on user talk pages. "Users may freely remove comments from their own talk pages, though archiving is preferred. They may also remove some content in archiving. The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user. This specifically includes both registered and anonymous users." : see WP:OWNTALK.

Kind regards,

Jon —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.112.41 (talk) 14:00, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Edits

Is there a reason why my addition of the nickname "The Van Don'ts" was undone? Is there some sort of formal process that I have to go through in order for a nickname to be approved? If this isn't the proper place for this kind of question please let me know because this is my first edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Warblgarbl (talkcontribs) 00:46, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

To be honest it didn't make any sense to me. It was just on it's own, nothing to state that it's a nickname or what it's a nickname for. I googled it, couldn't find anything. Because the previous line was something like The Van Do's I thought it was a test edit on the article or someone having a laugh and I reverted it --5 albert square (talk) 00:57, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Fair enough. One of the 2ICs in my platoon would only refer to them as such when we were getting RIPed by them in 2009. To be honest that was the first and only time I have heard of them being called that. I just wanted to add some fairness and balance to the article because The RCR and PPCLI seemed to have more than their fair share of derogatory nicknames when the 22nd had none. While the nickname of "The Van Don'ts" itself my not be popular, trash-talking of the Quebecois certainly is :). Cheers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Warblgarbl (talkcontribs) 01:40, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your edits at that BLP yesterday. The article has a history of some likely partisan editing. Insisting on wholesale changes that removes the reflist requires a degree of discussion, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 12:15, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Goblin

The rationale for this edit escapes me. You changed "[[legend]]ary", which looks like legendary and links to legend, to "legendary", with no link, and got rid of the single blank space after the comma but before the word "Halifax", thereby restoring a typo that had been fixed. Two valid contributions, including fixing a typo, were destroyed. Michael Hardy (talk) 15:56, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Well to be honest I was actually reverting this. I actually thought that was a joke contribution, didn't realise it was serious --5 albert square (talk) 11:46, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Olivia Colman

I'm NOT vandalising! You're deleting/reverting me as I'm adding the information and then warning me that I'll be banned for not adding references? For crying out loud how is anyone supposed to add new material with this trigger-happy behaviour? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.141.84.60 (talk) 23:34, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Well if there is a reference to back this up why don't you add it at the same time as making the edit to the page? However I looked on Google and could find nothing to state that she is part of this dynasty. I also looked on the actress' website and there's nothing there either. The reason that you were warned against vandalism is because that is the standard template that Huggle sends for the 4th warning. --5 albert square (talk) 23:38, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Your reversion (section blanking) of my contribution to [Barrie Police Service]]

I have reverted your section blanking of article Barrie Police Service. The inclusion of the section on the history of misconduct on the Barrie Police Service is not 'personal opinion' as you purport in your post to my talk page, but rather documented history of events which drew national attention to the Barrie Police Service and which I referenced with unbiased sources which included: The Toronto Star (Canada's largest newspaper by circulation); The National Post (Canada's national newspaper); The Court - Osgoode Hall (Canada's preeminant law school); and rulings by the Supreme Court of Canada (Canada's highest court). While it is unfortunate that certain individuals find this factual information offensive, permitting individuals to otherwise 'white-wash' history on Wikipedia would be tantamount to referring to Adolf Hitler as a mere 'failed artist' instead of the architect of the Holocaust. The scandals at the Barrie Police Service are part of its history - plain and simple.

November 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive Conclusion

Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors Backlog Elimination Drive!

We have reached the end of our fourth backlog elimination drive. Thanks to all who participated.

Stats

GOCE November 2010 backlog elimination drive graphs
  • 58 people signed up for this drive. Of these, 48 people participated in the drive.
  • Although we did not eliminate the months we planned to (January, February, and March 2009; and August, September, and October 2010), we did reduce the backlog by 627 articles (11.2%), which was over our goal of 10%.
  • 49 awards will go out to 33 of 48 participants. Check out the complete list of barnstar winners here.

Barnstars

If you copy edited at least 4,000 words, you qualify for a barnstar. If you participated in the September 2010 backlog elimination drive, you may have earned roll-over words (more details can be found here). These roll-over words count as credit towards earning barnstars, except for leaderboard awards. We will be delivering these barnstars within the next couple of weeks.

Our next drive is scheduled for January 2011. In the meantime, please consider helping out at the Wikification drive or any of the other places where help with backlogs is needed.

Thank you for participating in the last 2010 backlog elimination drive! We look forward to seeing you in January!

I looked at all of those articles earlier, but I didn't patrol all of them. WAYNESLAM 01:34, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
That's ok you wouldn't be expected to patrol all of them on your own, but if you think they're notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia, then just click the link at the bottom of the page to say that it's been patrolled and it will eventually get added to the search results :) --5 albert square (talk) 01:39, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Ready for rollback

I want to be taught all the stuff I need know, since I want to be rollbacking again, soon. I'm missing out a lot of Huggle edits that are being made out there since I'm patrolling new pages. I would like to do both, though. WAYNESLAM 20:55, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Seriously Wayne, there is no rush to get back to rollbacking or Huggle. It really will do you good to learn other bits of Wikipedia first and your time away from rollback and Huggle will give you time to familiarise yourself with these and with all of Wikipedia's policies. Sure you may be missing out on some Huggle edits at the moment but that's not the point. I would suggest that you learn new page patrol plus other parts of Wikipedia and consider returning to Huggle again maybe in a few months time. --5 albert square (talk) 21:02, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
This reminds me of a situation I've seen before. A person living in the city, living in the fast lane (Huggling) suddenly gets sent into the rural areas (content work). The city person at first struggles to adjust to rural life, but eventually finds that he likes it more than city life. So give it time, Albert; Wayne will eventually learn that there's more to Wikipedia than reverting vandalism and getting a high edit count. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 21:11, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I will, Utahraptor. I agree with what you and 5 albert square are saying. I didn't a lot revert vandalism before I started reverting vandalism a lot more. Now I have a better job to do now than before I started rollback which is new page patrolling. WAYNESLAM 21:18, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Wayne, remember that this is not a small break from rollback and Huggle; it's a suspension of your privileges to use them. It could and probably will be a few months before you get them back. Remember to be patient and pay close attention when I teach you about vandalism. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 21:46, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Wayne, you need to understand, this is not a time out period. Your licence has been suspended and for good reason. You need to understand ALL aspects of Wikipedia in more depth and it is likely that you will not get rollback, Huggle or any other anti-vandal tool returned for some months. Huggle in particular is likely not to return for some time. Seriously, none of the anti-vandal tools are to be used as a race to edit and to be honest, Huggle, Twinkle, all of the anti-vandal tools should be the least of your concerns at the moment. Concentrate on learning all about Wikipedia and then you can worry about the anti-vandal side of it :) --5 albert square (talk) 21:50, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
I see what you guys mean. I will NOT use it as a race when I get it back in a few months. I just do what I got to do RIGHT NOW which is patrol new pages. I'll be patient since time goes by fast. WAYNESLAM 22:12, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Truckfile Page

Good afternoon

Just wondering why my page has been marked for deletion?

Im trying to get to grips with how wikipedia works and i decided to create a page on my companies product which thus far doesn't have a wikipedia page about it.

Large companies aprove of the system such as VOSA and Mercedes benz, and also there are thousands of people that use the systsem every day of the year.

for these reasons i think that the page being on the system is beneficial. if am no where near finishing yet, i wish to add more but i would like it to be taken from "MARKED FOR DELETION"

if you would like to have a look about our product then visit www.truckfile.co.uk

i look forward to your response

samevs92 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samevs92 (talkcontribs) 13:24, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi
I marked the page originally for deletion because when I saw the page to me I didn't see anything stating why it was notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia. I can't remember what it said but from what I remember there was only a couple of lines about the business. From what I can see now the article seems to have been deleted, recreated and marked for deletion again? If you think the page is notable enough you need to explain why it shouldn't be deleted on the articles talk page. An admin will then decide whether or not the page is deleted.
However please note that Wikipedia strongly discourage against editing articles in great depth that you are closely associated with as there may be a conflict of interest and may not be from a neutral point of view.--5 albert square (talk) 14:54, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Stop

Your recent behavior violate Wikipedia guideline. You looks like call other editors for Tag team play.[2][3][4][5][6]

Wikipedia:Canvassing

However canvassing which is done with the intention of influencing the outcome of a discussion in a particular way is considered inappropriate. This is because it compromises the normal consensus decision-making process, and therefore is generally considered disruptive behaviour.

Wikipedia:Meat puppetry

Meatpuppetry is soliciting other people to come to Wikipedia in order to influence the editorial process in a topic or discussion. A "meat puppet" is another editor that has been solicited to sway consensus.[1] It is a violation of this policy either to solicit meat puppets or to be a meat puppet for someone else.

Wikipedia:Tag team

Tag teaming (sometimes also called a "Travelling Circus") is a controversial[1] form of meatpuppetry in which editors coordinate their actions to circumvent the normal process of consensus. As with meatpuppetry, editors may be accused of coordinating their actions to sidestep policies and guidelines (such as 3RR and NPOV). Unlike "meatpuppetry", the phrase may be applied to otherwise legitimate editors. The phrase comes from professional wrestling "tag teams", where teams of two wrestlers take turns in the ring, and one brings in his teammate by tagging him.

I warning you. Please stop calling opther users (possible favorite to your POV) for tag team play.660gd4qo (talk) 13:08, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Er, what? I am telling people that there is a discussion there. I am NOT telling them what to say! I am asking for HJ's help because he is an admin and I'd rather do that than lock the page and have nobody able to edit it.--5 albert square (talk) 13:11, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
You are one of the discussed member, also you opposed my edit. Your behavior is Cleary "intention of influencing the outcome of a discussion in a particular way is considered inappropriate.". -- 660gd4qo (talk) 13:15, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I have no idea I'm afraid, I don't remember the page. The tools I use for marking pages for deletion all automatically place the message on the users talk page. Maybe somebody used your account? Or maybe there was a glitch with whatever anti-vandal tool I used? If it was the latter then I do apologise. However I can't check it now as the page is deleted.--5 albert square (talk) 23:26, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

I have recently rewrote it following the format of other Wikipedia pages. It can be found here, I just wondered what else I will need to add to it for it to be approved and not deleted instantly.

Huggle has been crashing for many users. Will you please give me some tips to see how I should revert vandalism correctly without making a lot of mistakes? WAYNESLAM 22:34, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
The best advice I can give you is to take your time with edits, make sure first of all that they are vandalism before you revert. If you're in any doubt research the edit before making the revert. That said I still think that the anti-vandal tools are the last thing you should be considering right now unless your mentor has said so--5 albert square (talk) 22:45, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

3O

Hi, I am new to the process myself, but it seems like a good idea. My understanding is it is used when two editors have conflicting opinions on a topic, seem at a standstill, and therefore invite a 3rd opinion from an unaffiliated party for a more objective look after reading and considering reasoning from both sides. The editors are not bound to use that 3rd party's opinion, but it can be helpful in "breaking the tie" to add/remove content. Whatever the final decision is that the conflicted editors make on the article, it should be done with an eye to "playing nice" with each other and for supplying the best information for Wiki's readers as a whole. Runtshit

Apology accepted. As you can understand, I respond very quickly in order to have this vandal's attacks removed. By the way, you may not have noticed that a bot also reported this IP for an edit which had been caught by the abuse filter; so I was reporting the second, not first, edit from that address. RolandR (talk) 22:53, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Ah no I didn't, sorry.--5 albert square (talk) 23:18, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

why did you revert me

i was just trying to get rid of the lies about the norwegian capital with the truth. i know how things work in my country. there isnt a place called greater oslo. it is simply a company name. though that company was merged so it doesnt have that name anymore.

I reverted you because you accused another editor (I think) of lying without providing any proof that there is any lie--5 albert square (talk) 01:44, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Hiya, I know it's been a while , but im thinking of nommin this for GA now. Do you still have time to review? GunGagdinMoan 08:02, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey, yeah I still have the time to review it. Even if I didn't I would easily find another editor on the GA thing to do it rather than leave Mrs Branning standing around for months like last time! I think it'll be a fairly easy pass this time, been keeping an eye on the article since. Let me know when you nominate it :) --5 albert square (talk) 22:02, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Edit War

An edit war erupted on the List of The Angry Video Game Nerd episodes. The page is protected, but one user is threatening to continue reverting once it is unprotected. Here is the statment:

"I am far beyond spent with the endless internet-arguments about external links being such a bad thing. It is not as though this page is nothing but external links; it is useful information that is enhanced by the inclusion of links to off-site content. There has been an ongoing crusade by several people, including duffbeerforme, who has also posted on the Nostalgia Critic entry to remove "EL's" there as well. This over-zealous application of the letter of the law is in contrast to the spirit of the law, which is intended to uphold quality in articles. It is sadly being utilized as a tool to REMOVE quality in this instance, and several others. Do not bother quoting/linking WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A COLLECTION OF EXTERNAL LINKS or EDIT WAR or any other such policy pages. I am aware of the policy, and I am disappointed in its application. I am making a stand here, whatever the outcome. Some mod had better come along and gold-protect this article and/or ban me for life from editing, because I am going to keep bringing the links back as long as I am capable of doing so, and I encourage others to do so as well. When words have failed, actions must speak for themselves. Facta non verba. I do not consider this vandalism, I consider it activism against an extremist application of policy. Shakzor (talk) 14:50, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Did you consider trying words before "they failed"? duffbeerforme (talk) 15:52, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
I did indeed. Seems they invariably fall on deaf ears and ignorant minds here on wikipedia; gathering place for law school drop-outs. I will be back reverting the page on February 1st, when the protection expires. Shakzor (talk) 16:14, 11 January 2011 (UTC)"

Could you help out with this? Shakzor has been warned and reported. I think this could qualify for investigation or a block. Rusted AutoParts (talk) 12:58 11 January 2011 (UTC)

If my actions qualify me for a blocking, then block me; simple as that. Being blocked relieves me of any sense of responsibility for what goes on behind the scenes here. Just know that I have been a casual contributor for a long time before making an account, and I made this account specifically for accountability (pun intended) for my actions in editing the AVGN Episodes page. I believe the page should be as I edited it to be, and obviously others disagree or we would not be here. I have no interest in continuing the dead-end discussions on the matter. Blocking me would simplify things greatly, for me; though the unfortunate result of this is that the page will go on as it is currently, lowered in its quality and less useful owing to overly enthusiastic application of the external links policy. That may be a "non-encyclopedic" argument, but if wikipedia wants to be an online version of a legitimate encyclopedia, then all references to all episode lists of all television (and internet) shows should be deleted, along with a myriad other pages that currently exist on the site. If the page is to be, then I believe it should not be a useless footnote. But whatever. As for the banning, openly admit that I deserve it. Shakzor (talk) 18:51, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
We do not use Youtube as a source. And threatening to continue edit warring could get you in serious trouble. Rusted AutoParts (talk) 17:57 11 January 2011 (UTC)

British v. American Spelling

Sorry about Americanizing the spelling on The Bill. It was a genuine mistake, and I promise not to do it again. ~ Matthewrbowker Say hi! 00:26, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey, no worries, it's a genuine mistake, easy made. I didn't realise the article managed to invent a whole new calendar month called Otober, at least that's sorted!--5 albert square (talk) 00:30, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey Albert, sorry to criticize you, but I think you asked for protection too quickly on that article. It was only one IP, and they're already blocked. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 03:51, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

GOCE drive news

Guild of Copy Editors January 2011 backlog elimination drive

Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors January 2011 Backlog elimination drive! The drive is halfway over, so here are some mid-drive stats.

Participation
GOCE January 2011 backlog elimination drive progress graphs

So far, 43 people have signed up for this drive. Of these, 25 have participated. If you signed up for the drive but haven't participated yet, it's not too late! Try to copy edit at least a few articles. Remember, if you have rollover words from the last drive, you will lose them if you do not participate in this drive. If you haven't signed up for the drive yet, you can sign up now.

Progress report

We have eliminated two months from the backlog – January and February 2009. One of our goals is to eliminate as many months as possible from the 2009 backlog. Please help us reduce the size of this part of the backlog if you haven't already. Another goal is to reduce the entire backlog by 10%, or by 515 articles. Currently, we have eliminated 375 articles from the queue, so if each participant copy edits four more articles, we will reach that goal.

Thank you for participating in the January 2011 drive. We anticipate it will be another big success!

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Deal or No Deal.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:12, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey Courcelles, that can actually just be deleted. It's an old image of the opening sequence which has now changed. I was going to upload a new image but I see someone else has already done that :)--5 albert square (talk) 00:16, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

ok done, but it hasn't been transcluded yet. I haven't got involved in an RFA since my own ;-) –AnemoneProjectors– 08:28, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
I have indented the two !votes as they were premature :(... I'll add my support as soon as it's transcluded! Airplaneman 14:21, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
This is why I asked, because although the RFA appeared to have essentially started, it hadn't been transcluded. But I figured that the hidden notes were implying that the two can be separate. But... does it really matter? Does this mean our support won't be taken into account in the tally? –AnemoneProjectors– 16:29, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
When you want to transclude it, ping me and I'll do it for you (I've done quite a few and if I cock up, it doesn't reflect badly on you). But when you want to get it started, you have to transclude it onto WP:RFA and remove the comment tags around the timer. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 17:26, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
All sorted. It's up and running. Best of luck to you. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:04, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

You may want to consider adding {{RfX-notice|a}} to your userpage. -- œ 01:11, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, I was looking for that before :)--5 albert square (talk) 01:20, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Online Ambassadors

Hi! I noticed your RfA, which seems to be going quite well, and I wanted to let you know about the Wikipedia Ambassador Program, and specifically the role of Online Ambassador. We're looking for friendly Wikipedians who are good at reviewing articles and giving feedback to serve as mentors for students who are assigned to write for Wikipedia in their classes.

If that sounds like you and you're interested, I encourage you to take a look at the Online Ambassador guidelines; the "mentorship process" describes roughly what will be expected of mentors during the current term, which started in January and goes through early May. If that's something you want to do, please apply!

You can find instructions for applying at WP:ONLINE. The main things we're looking for in Online Ambassadors are friendliness, regular activity (since mentorship is a commitment that spans several months), and the ability to give detailed, substantive feedback on articles (both short new articles, and longer, more mature ones).

I hope to hear from you soon.--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 17:27, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

RfA Question

Hello! I am sure that you have probably already seen it prior to reading this, but I wanted to let you know that I have added a question to your RfA. Just for your own peace of mind, I will tell you that I am inclined to support your run, but am curious as to what you have to say. I will, of course, be more than happy to provide the reasoning behind the question - as it is a bit out of left field - after you consider it! Cheers! --Strikerforce (talk) 10:30, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your answer. My intention was to support and I have just added myself to that column, but I wanted to get a feel for the reason for the dropoff. There are some users who will edit so frequently that they burn themselves out and go through periods of inactivity, which is not what the encyclopedia needs from an administrator. I'm not asking an admin to be superhuman, by any means, but I do expect some sort of consistency. Good luck, although it doesn't look like you'll have any problems! --Strikerforce (talk) 22:43, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, I was just about to post here and say I'd answered your question lol!--5 albert square (talk) 22:55, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

GOCE January Backlog elimination drive conclusion

Guild of Copy Editors January 2011 Backlog elimination drive

Greetings from the January 2011 Backlog elimination drive! We have reached the end of the month and the end of another successful drive; thanks to all who participated.

Statistics
  • 54 people signed up for the year's first Backlog elimination drive. Of these, 40 participated.
  • One of our goals was to reduce the size of the backlog by at least 10%. We managed to reduce the backlog by 633 articles, or about 12%.
  • Another goal was to eliminate as many 2009 months as possible from the queue. We eliminated January, February, March, and April—4 out of 12 months is not bad! In addition, we eliminated 37% of all remaining 2009 articles from the queue.
  • Chaosdruid copy edited Kutch Gurjar Kashtriya for 32,711 words, which is the largest single article completed in one of our drives so far. This article counts as six 5000-K articles, and Chaosdruid wins the "most 5000-K articles" leaderboard category. Way to go! A complete list of individual results is here.
Barnstars

If you copy edited at least 4,000 words, you qualify for a barnstar. If you participated in the November 2010 Backlog elimination drive, you may have earned roll-over words (more details can be found here). These roll-over words count as credit towards earning barnstars, except for leaderboard awards. We will be delivering the barnstars within the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for participating in this year's first Backlog elimination drive! We hope to see you in March.

Follow up question at RfA

I've asked a follow-up question at your RfA. I admit to being concerned that you think being an admin requires more complex reasoning skills for tasks that you say should be done by mop wielders. I won't be voting, so feel free to ignore the question. However, I hope it is one you ask yourself, as I think this thought pattern at the outset might lead you to trouble in the long run. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Administrators are not smarter than general editors. --Kleopatra (talk) 17:24, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
