Hi -- I saw you added a screenshot to Stephen Colbert, but I can't figure out from the description whether it's from the Daily Show or the Colbert Report. What was the dramatic encounter about anyway? Noob Trouble[edit]

Hi MoP,

You welcomed me all the way back in February and said if I had any questions, I could come here and ask. I've run into a bit of a problem over on the Auroville page and am not sure what to do next. I've had trouble keeping it NPOV, and there is an anonymous POV-pusher editing without any apparent regard to my repeated requests for discussion of the problem on both the page's talk page and his/her own. What do I do? I can't just keep reverting it, can I? I'm really trying to create a better page, but this particular user is making it rather difficult. Vandalism?[edit]

Hi MOP, if one checks the recent history of the Auroville page, it becomes quite obvious that someone is bent on re-pasting a lot of negative falsehood, trashing a struggling article with stuff that as the article grows is even contradicted internally in the article. A Couple Formatting problems[edit]

Hey I got a reccomendation that you are the best with userpages. After visiting yours, I think I found the right place. I copied some text from Leroyencyclopediabrown's page and I had some problems. He left, that's why I chose it (and I like it). I decided to take it a step further and add some different colored text (white) but it only worked on part of the userpage. I wanted to make the text (and maybe the titles) white, and I also had some problems changing the background color of the page. Can you help me make the text white and change the backgrond color? It looks totally awesome (I hope that doesn't sound too cliche). If the links or text is stopping you you can delete all the text. This is really hard to follow, and also you mentioned something about the text being wrong, did you not? Do you think you could insert it for me? How are things?[edit]

Haven't crossed paths with you for awhile. I see you're still wiki-busy. I have been email'd/talk page prop'd to toss my hat into the RfA ring. I have told all that the time is not right and that I still have a bit more to learn. Soon maybe? I am content doing what I do best...and my user page has been vandalized many times for doing it :) . I am closing in on 12000 edits. I can remember when it was 1000. I've seen quite a few "wiki-friends" quit altogether due to constant frustration from vandals and POV pushers. I'm still here. It's a decent little hobby. I've "coffee break chatted" about Wikipedia to some of my staff. There are a few here(maybe even a few in our offices out west, and in the States) who edit now and then. I have my finance officer hooked. She says she watches pages that her children might view(Pokemon, Bionicle etc) to see that they don't read anything "naughty". Hard task on some of those pages. I told her I've never watched Barney...but I've rvv'd his article more times than I can count. Fun fun fun. Hope all is well with you. Cheers and take care! VP Ongoing Issue[edit]

For some reason my name has been removed from the list of authorized users. I was added by Betacommand here [1], and he welcommed me here[2]. I had difficulties using it, did everything I could myself, was unable to, so I requested assistance here [3]. Instead of assistance, I was removed from the list. Because I have had difficulties on wikipedia recieving help from administrators when requested, this message is in essence a generic template I am writing on all moderators' talk pages and discussion boards in the hopes of recieving if nothing else a response - ideally, however, a solution.
