Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Gazal world (talk) 12:42, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Rao Kadam Singh
Hi . Hope you are doing good.
Rao kadam singh or chaudhari kadam singh was a notable leader during the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
Please read the section "The Revolt" under "Rebellion of 1857" page. May also refer to "Kadam Singh" page.
Hope you will be agree .
Thanks
Gewingewin (talk) 15:35, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Gewingewin:. Thank you for a query. Infobox cannot hold all the people who led the rebellion in different places so we have listed only kings/queens/leader of the princely states. Kadam Singh had contributed in the rebellion but he was not a princely state leader and led Gurjar ethnic group only. So we should refrain from adding him in infobox. Main text has details on him and he has the separate article as well. Infobox is just a collection of some structured info from the article and cannot have all the things. Hope it clarifies.-Nizil (talk) 05:23, 4 August 2018 (UTC)

WikiCup 2018 September newsletter
The fourth round of the 2018 WikiCup has now come to an end. The eight users who made it to the final round had to score a minimum of 422 points to qualify, with the top score in the round being 4869 points. The leaders in round 4 were:
- Courcelles scored a magnificent 4869 points, with 92 good articles on Olympics-related themes. Courcelles' bonus points alone exceeded the total score of any of the other contestants!
- Kees08 was second with 1155 points, including a high-scoring featured article for Neil Armstrong, two good topics and some Olympics-related good articles.
- Cas Liber, with 1066 points, was in third place this round, with two featured articles and a good article, all on natural history topics.
- Other contestants who qualified for the final round were Nova Crystallis, Iazyges, SounderBruce, Kosack and Ceranthor.
During round four, 6 featured articles and 164 good articles were promoted by WikiCup contestants, 13 articles were included in good topics and 143 good article reviews were performed. There were also 10 "in the news" contributions on the main page and 53 "did you knows". Congratulations to all who participated! It was a generally high-scoring and productive round and I think we can expect a highly competitive finish to the competition.
Remember that any content promoted after the end of round 4 but before the start of round 5 can be claimed in round 5. Remember too that you must claim your points within 10 days of "earning" them. If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. It would be helpful if this list could be cleared of any items no longer relevant. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck, and let the best editor win! Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:15, 26 September 2018 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Polo Forest
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Polo Forest. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Polo forest. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Polo forest. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. @Boothsift 01:01, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

Draft:Vastupala copy edit
Hi Nizil Shah, I'm working my way through you draft and would like some clarification. In this section He had two sons from his wife Jaishree: Soma and Sura. Soma was a jewel keeper in Chaulukya ruler Jayasimha Siddharaja's court. He had a son Ashwaraja (or Asharaja) through his wife Sita.Laughlin opines that these ancestors are not mentioned in any other sources even if they were ministers so they would not have been as much influence as the brothers.
, could you clarify whether Soma and Sura were sons of Chandapa or Chandaprasada. Also, whose son was Ashwaraja? --Blackmane (talk) 05:26, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Blackmane:. Sorry for the confusion. The genealogy follows:Chandapa=his son Chandaprasada=his son Soma (married Sita) and Sura=Soma's son Ashwaraja (married Kumaradevi)=Ashwaraja's children Vastupala, Tejapala and 9 others. Regards,-Nizil (talk) 07:26, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

Hello Nizil Shah! Thanks for your edits to Baroda State. We may also consider moving that information from being its own section to being a sub-section under History. Deccantrap (talk) 13:42, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Adding Hindi script words in Akram Vigyan movement article
Hi Nizil, Thanks for reviewing the article. Wanted to know why Hindi script words can not be added in article? It could help one understand the real word and pronunciation. Would like to know your perspective. Thanks. Udtrivedi (talk) 14:54, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Udtrivedi:, thank you for corrections in the articles and reaching me for clarification. Other language words are italisized in the article to tell people that they are other language words and sometimes translation is also added after them if they need to explained. I understand your intentions of adding Hindi words but adding different language words is troublesome. It was also problem listed at MOS:IS. For example, after adding Hindi words, what if someone wants to add Gujarati script words? then someone Marathi or Sanskrit script words? What script should be and should not be kept? It is complex issue and can not be resolved with satisfaction of all editors so Indian writers decided to not add any language script in the article lede with few exceptions like article on languages themselves. Same problem applies here. One more thing, it also interfere in reading to non-Hindi reading audience. Transliteration of the words is enough for them. Hope it clarifies. Feel free to ask more. I hope you stay here and become a great contributor to Wikipedia. It is a learning experience and we always need more Indian editors. I will be happy to help. You can also join other Indian language wikipedias like Hindi or Gujarati as well. Regards,-Nizil (talk) 15:12, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
