Hello. Any chance of adding a "ma" command for "merge all"? --After Midnight 0001 03:23, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Not sure why I didn't put that in to start with. the wub "?!" 12:25, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

African Footballers CFD[edit]

I have to wonder at the decision here. The article for the awards has been merged into another article. It's unusual in the extreme to have a category for an award if the award itself is not notable enough for an independent article, per WP:OC#Award_winners. Otto4711 04:51, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So, Wikipedia contains exactly the same content on the award, exactly the same list, but because an anonymous editor unilaterally consolidated it with some other information, it is obviously no longer notable? the wub "?!" 12:23, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2000s fads CFD[edit]

I am at a lost to understand your decision to delete the "2000 fads" category.

In the vote you presided at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2007_November_11#Category:2000s_fads there were only two votes to delete and one comment that, while not explicit, seemed like a keep vote. I think it's pretty silly to do a deletion on such a small amount of responses.

When you did delete the category you did not take the normal step to go provide an infobox to that end on the category's talk page... and it also appears that you never checked it before doing so. If you had looked at Category talk:2000s fads‎ you would see that it had been up for deletion and survived quite recently: Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2007_July_25#Category:2000s_fads. The person who listed it there was the one who listed it earlier. Now this older discussion is marked as "no consensus" by the person who closed it, but there was only one vote to delete to two keeps and a comment. There were more votes to keep this category then (when it was "no consensus" supposedly) then there were votes to delete when you deleted it.

Per the deletion review criteria I brought it up with you first before listing it there. Based upon its use and the continued existence of a fads category that has subcategories based upon decade, I can't see any rationale for deletion. DreamGuy 15:46, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately cfd debates often don't get the attention they should. I still feel my closure as delete was reasonable, and in tune with general practices. Also I'm not sure Otto's comment could be taken as a keep "vote", he was suggesting looking at the other "Fads" categories. I was aware of the previous discussion, but bear in mind that consensus can change.
P.S. sorry for the delayed reply, I've been having serious time and connection problems. the wub "?!" 13:31, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Category:Nightmare Enterprises monsters (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 20:17, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would you take a look?[edit]

An image used in the article on the first Bangladeshi pornstar Jazmin, Image:WorshipThisBitch3.jpg, the cover of the DVD that made her the selling point, a first for a Bangladeshi, is up for deletion here. You may be interested to take a look. Aditya(talkcontribs) 21:30, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted page request[edit]

Hi, I was wondering if you could provide me with the text of the deleted page: List of cars used by the 9/11 hijackers. Just to let you know, it's not a copyright violation, libel, or personal information, etc. Thanks.  Noah¢s (Talk) 18:57, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing, I put it at User:Noahcs/List of cars used by the 9/11 hijackers. the wub "?!" 21:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that your bot (The wubbot (talk · contribs)) is still been run but seems to have stopped archiving pages from the schools deletion sorting list. Do you know why this is? I am pointing this out as it does a very helpful task and the page is getting overwhelmed in closed AFDs - I would rather not archive them manually. Camaron1 | Chris (talk) 20:39, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I was away for a few days, and now I'm back the bot is giving me unexpected crashes. This means it gets to certain pages on its list and dies, so the remainder don't get done. I'm trying to figure out the problem and fix it (and have it handle errors more gracefully). For now I've skipped it to the schools page and run it there, since as you say it is quite backlogged. the wub "?!" 21:27, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for skipping it straight to the schools page; I will tell you if it gets really back-logged again. Camaron1 | Chris (talk) 21:46, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If people are pointing out backlogged pages, the one I've been noticing is Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Academics and educators. Thanks for running the wubbot, by the way — it's very helpful! —David Eppstein (talk) 22:41, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done now. Thanks again! —David Eppstein (talk) 18:07, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts on BLP[edit]

Since you seemed to like that essay earlier, I thought I should let you know that I've expanded it somewhat. User:JoshuaZ/Thoughts on BLP‎. JoshuaZ (talk) 22:49, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Sorry to be a pain, and thanks for the creation of Wubbot and seasons greetings and all of that, but, and yes, there's a lways a but. The wubbot hasn't archived Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Comics and animation since the 4th December and it is getting a little large. Is there a page or a tag that this has fallen off of that has fallen off the page so the bot will hit it? Aprreciate any pointers as to what I've cocked up this time. Cheers, Hiding T 16:43, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, it's annoying that it's been broken, but kind of nice to know that it's been missed! :-) And Merry Christmas to you too. the wub "?!" 17:35, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Failed to extract result[edit]

Failed to extract result from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carr Manor High School, please use your skillz on Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Schools/archive. The wubbot (talk) 17:21, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Later wubbot, I'm going out and I've already spent too long on you tonight. the wub "?!" 17:36, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have done the school one for you, it was a simple case of Keep. Camaron1 | Chris (talk) 17:52, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! the wub "?!" 10:17, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request for deleted page[edit]

I was wondering if you could provide me with the old version of the article: Prisonplanet.com. The original page was deleted in October 2006 and has since been recreated and redirected to another article. Thanks. -- Noah¢s (Talk) 01:47, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The content ended up at Alex Jones' websites, and was deleted following Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alex Jones' websites. I have put a copy in your userspace at User:Noahcs/Alex Jones' websites. the wub "?!" 17:04, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
